What We Offer

We want your experience at Sunnyfield’s to be one of care and compassion.

You and your loved one will be treated with kindness and respect at all times. We encourage you to contact us whenever you feel you need to.

We offer a truly personal service that includes:

  • Our Unique Customer Service
    From the moment you contact us to the time you have your loved back home with you, we will be here with you every step of the way. We encourage you to contact us whenever you feel you need to, as we are always here to help as much as we can. Nothing is too much trouble.

  • Individual Cremation only.
    Your loved one will be cremated entirely on their own and will treated with the utmost dignity and respect they deserve.

  • Collection from your home or Veterinary Practice
    We can collect your loved one from your home, Veterinary Practice or other location.

  • Ability to bring your loved one to us personally
    You are more than welcome to bring your loved one to us. We would however appreciate it if you could kindly make an appointment prior to arriving, as we like to give each person their own private time whilst they are with us

  • Our Chapel of Rest
    Owners are always welcome to keep in touch and come back to visit us either to, look in the book of remembrance, Photo remembrance book or tag of remembrances that you have chosen.

  • Remembrance Garden
    Our garden is a peaceful place, where you can hear the gentle sound of our water feature flowing into our pond. You can spend time here reflecting and remembering your loved one.

  • Pet Bereavement Counselling
    Paula offers personal one to one bereavement counselling. As a trained counsellor Paula has taken a specialised course in bereavement and is here to help if you wish to talk. For more information click here.

  • Online Remembrance Book
    A free of charge facility that allows you to leave a memorial on our website to your friend. There you may leave a message and photograph and as you will see it is full of moving tributes, poems and written memories of our precious customers and their loved ones.

  • Chapel Book of Remembrance
    This is placed in our Chapel of Rest for you to sign when you visit – or alternatively you can download a sheet from our website that you can fill in and email to us – For more information please click here.

  • Photo Album
    Our photo remembrance albums are full of beautiful photos of loved ones along with a few words of remembrance. If you wish to you can either bring us a photo of your loved one, along with a few words, send us a photo and words by email to claire@sunnyfieldspetcrematorium.co.uk or alternatively post a photo and words to us at this address click here.

  • A Tag of Remembrance
    Outside our Chapel of Rest we have Tags of Remembrance, these are placed here as lasting memories for you. If you wish to order a tag of remembrance please click here. There are different designs and sizes to suit any budget.

  • Return of ashes which includes
    • Our Unique Presentation & Memorial folder
    • Personal return or collection of ashes
    We can personally return your loved one to either your home Veterinary Practice or alternative address, to suit you and your needs.

    Or you can personally collect your loved ones ashes from us. All you need to do is make an appointment, so you get to spend the time you need here without any interruptions.

  • Exhumation Service
    We have many unusual requests of which this is one. Please contact us if you require further details.

We are approved by: Braintree District Council, DEFRA and the Secretary of State (all the above documents are on display in our reception area).
